ZAMP 341 – 2025 ZAMP Zombie Awards
Welcome to the first-ever ZAMP Zombie Awards! We run down some of the highlights from the past year, but that doesn’t just mean stuff that came out in 2025. We talk about some of our favourite recaps of both old and new content. Over in the news, it seems we have lots of new zombie content not that far away! Looks like 2026 is off with a bang as the new Resident Evil video game is releasing soon, Quarantine Zone exits Early Access on Steam, and IFC/Shudder is putting out the movie This is Not a Test.
ZAMP 340 – The Battery
This week, Ryan and Lou joined a baseball team. When the zombie outbreak happens, they begin a road trip to stay alive. Lou thinks they need to keep moving and Ryan wants to find survivors… How will it end?… What, no, that’s this week’s movie, The Battery! It’s considered a zombie indie darling, but what do we think… I guess you need to listen to find out. In the news we cover lots of 28 Years Later news (Bone Temple and Part III), Resident Evil leaks before The Game Awards, and rumours of a new Dead Rising… Yes, please!
ZAMP 339 – Daryl and Carol Visit Spain
This week we took a trip to what Lou thought might be a Sergio Leone western from the 60s or 70s… Then we saw zombies, which reminded us it was The Walking Dead! So we watched Daryl Dixon Season 3 from beginning to end, and we have thoughts. We discussed some behind-the-scenes shots of the new Resident Evil movie. Also, Zombieland 3 might be in the works! Whoo Hooo! Let’s hope 2026 (and beyond) is the year of the zombie!
ZAMP 338 – Plants vs Zombies Replanted
Plants shoot peas at zombies and the sun helps us grow more! Wait, no it’s not 2009, it’s 2025! Why are we playing Plants vs Zombies? Because PopCap remastered the original classic with more content and uprezed graphics. Is it worth it? Did we have fun? All that and more on this week’s ZAMP! In the news we find out Scott Gimble won’t let TWD die… The ultimate hype man! Marvel Zombies Season 2 seems to be a no brainer. Possible rumors of a Resident Evil 0 remake coming. Plus Resident Evil Requiem will have a special edition Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, an amiibo, and Fortnite content!
ZAMP 337 – Marvel Zombies
Disney+ finally receives another dose of Marvel Zombies after the What If Season 1 episode, delivering on a four episode season that brings new characters and new zombie antics. But before we dive into the MCU take on zombies, we go over the zombie news! PRIMAL Season 3 will have a zombie twist, We Bury The Dead featuring Daisy Ridley finally receives a trailer, Table Read Podcast takes on Night of the Living Dead, and Resident Evil mobile game promises not to go for your wallet (for characters that is).
ZAMP 336 – Dance of the Dead with Monica
Surprise, we have a guest this week on ZAMP! We are joined by Monica/WickedKitten13 from the GORE podcast. We gave her the movie choice this week and she picked Dance of the Dead from 2008. It’s new one for us too and we had a blast! In the news this week, we find out Archie may get a zombie show and lots and lots of Marvel.
ZAMP 335 – Returning to Dead City
After much delay, Ryan and Lou finally return to The Walking Dead: Dead City with Season 2. Did they drag their feet for good reason? Or were they pleasantly surprised? Tune in and find out their thoughts on Maggie and Negan returning to New York City. But before that, we have zombie news! Dambuster Studios teases the future of Dead Island, while GamesCom and Nintendo show off fresh looks at Resident Evil Requiem. As for the Lou rule on trailers, we got our first look at two upcoming zombie projects: 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple and Marvel Zombies.
ZAMP 334 – Revival
What happens when the dead in a small town come back? Are they zombies? Are they not? We debate and figure it out! Is SyFy’s Revival a zombie show? News wise we talk more about the new Resident Evil, rabbits with tentacles, and Paramount mentions World War Z… But is it just to boost stock? Maybe. Also, Marvel Zombies in about a month with more rumored superhero appearances!
ZAMP 333 – Nyaight of the Living Cat
This week ZAMP is invaded by…. Cats? What? Wait? Really? Yes, really! We talk about the anime, Nyaight of the Living Cats! Based on the manga of the same name and directed by legendary horror director Takashi Miike. How does this tie into zombies? Well, listen and find out! In our news, we rundown the latest from SDCC with TWD updates, then get to video game updates from Resident Evil, Plants vs Zombies, and more!
ZAMP 332 – 28 Years Later
It’s time! We went to the movies for the show for the first time ever! What did we see? 28 Years Later! It’s real! No Cillian Murphy, but we’ll take what we can get. In the news this week we have more Resident Evil 9 info, Neil Druckmann is leaving HBO’s The Last of Us to go back to games, and we have cat zombies in anime? WTF… Oh wait, next time on ZAMP… Cats? Wait what?
