After our preview of You Will Die Here Tonight last episode, we’re back with the game as our main topic. But before we spoil this zombie throwback video game, we have some zombie news to cover! With the actors strike over, HBO and The Last of Us series are getting close to casting their Abby. Speaking of The Last of Us Part II, Naughty Dog announced a Remaster for the game coming to PS5. Finally, AMC teases the Rick and Michonne series yet again after concluding Fear The Walking Dead.
We celebrate ZAMP 300 with a bit of a throwback by revisiting our ZAMP 1 Zomemories discussion. But to kick off the show, and keeping our throwback theme, we give our initial thoughts for You Will Die Here Tonight, a new video game inspired by the original Resident Evil games. In zombie news, The Day Before has been delayed again but will launch in Early Access this December, while HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 is expected to start production in early 2024.
Daryl Dixon has made his way to France on the latest Walking Dead spin-off, and Ryan and Lou are ready to share their thoughts. Plus a confirmation of a certain someone starring in Season 2! But before we check our French to English translation guide, we catch up on the last few weeks of zombie news. Turns out that Lollipop Chainsaw RePop is actually a remaster, not a remake. We may be seeing a Last of Us Part II Remaster in the near future. There’s a documentary coming in 2024 chronicling the failed Resident Evil movie from George A. Romero. And finally, we get a premiere month for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has been delayed to Summer 2024, change The Walking Dead Seasons 1-4 with the Destinies game, and The Day Before may have a new name soon. Maggie and Negan return in The Walking Dead: Dead City, plus we have a month’s worth of zombie news to catch up on! First up in zombie news, Twilight of the Dead appears to be moving forward, then we move over to the incredible Resident Evil Humble Bundle. Hopping over to San Diego Comic-Con news, The Walking Dead did not disappoint with the announcement of a new game The Walking Dead Betrayal, we have confirmation that Troy will return to conclude Fear The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon and Dead City are renewed for a second season (plus a Daryl Dixon trailer), and Rick and Michonne have a new series name and trailer.
We’re ready to wrap up the first half of Fear The Walking Dead’s final season, but before that we have some zombie news to catch up on! In a will they/won’t they situation, Melissa McBride WILL BE starring in the Daryl Dixon spin off after all, Dying Light 2 will have a Walking Dead crossover soon, and character details leak for The Last of Us Part 3. Morgan Jones has some adventure left in him, and here at ZAMP we’re excited to see what the character does next!

Ryan and Lou have another zombie movie discussion for this week, going a bit outside the traditional zombie genre with Mayhem. But before we get to the movie, we have a good helping of zombie news to discuss! Thanks to the PlayStation Showcase we have a few zombie video game updates, including a first look at the Resident Evil 4 Remake VR Mode and Arizona Sunshine 2 was announced. Speaking of Resident Evil though, thanks to Sudbury we may have our first bit of confirmation on a Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City sequel. Finally, Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd will be reuniting in a new zombie film this summer.
