We return to the now wasteland known as Raccoon City! Yes, Raccoon City is alive and well… Well, it’s not a nuclear wasteland, just one filled with zombies. We like that here on ZAMP. You know, ZOMBIES! In case you haven’t figured it out, we’re talking Resident Evil Requiem. Ryan and Lou played the latest game and have a rundown for you. In the news, we talk about more Resident Evil (both remakes and DLC for Requiem), some The Last of Us season 3 casting, and the 7 Days to Die developers are joining the Behaviour Interactive team!
ZAMP 344 – Bride of Re-Animator
It’s Bride of Frankenstein… Wait, no, that’s not right… No, it’s Bride of Re-Animator on Zombies Ate My Podcast this week. We go in-depth on our thoughts on this 90s classic. Does Jeffrey Combs take over every scene? HELL YES HE DOES! Also, Resident Evil Requiem is out, and we give our intro thoughts. In the news, we have more RE news about the upcoming movie, Evil Dead Wrath began filming, Paul W. S. How does the world end? According to the Cooties film makers, it’s chicken nuggets! Are we surprised? Not really, especially after the gross-out opening. Even Elijah Wood and Rainn Wilson can’t save this film from middling reviews. Hear our full thoughts and more this week on the podcast. It’s a new year with tons more zombie content! 2026 is shaping up to be a year of the zombie! This week, we outline big zombie things coming up throughout the year. Lots to watch and play if the release dates are to be believed. Lots of Resident Evil in games and movies. Even more 28 Years Later, and we can’t forget more and more “is it over yet” from AMC and The Walking Dead. Our news highlights the stuff likely coming in 2027 like a Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake, State of Decay 3, and more!
ZAMP 341 – 2025 ZAMP Zombie Awards
Welcome to the first-ever ZAMP Zombie Awards! We run down some of the highlights from the past year, but that doesn’t just mean stuff that came out in 2025. We talk about some of our favourite recaps of both old and new content. Over in the news, it seems we have lots of new zombie content not that far away! Looks like 2026 is off with a bang as the new Resident Evil video game is releasing soon, Quarantine Zone exits Early Access on Steam, and IFC/Shudder is putting out the movie This is Not a Test.
ZAMP 340 – The Battery
This week, Ryan and Lou joined a baseball team. When the zombie outbreak happens, they begin a road trip to stay alive. Lou thinks they need to keep moving and Ryan wants to find survivors… How will it end?… What, no, that’s this week’s movie, The Battery! It’s considered a zombie indie darling, but what do we think… I guess you need to listen to find out. In the news we cover lots of 28 Years Later news (Bone Temple and Part III), Resident Evil leaks before The Game Awards, and rumours of a new Dead Rising… Yes, please!
ZAMP 339 – Daryl and Carol Visit Spain
This week we took a trip to what Lou thought might be a Sergio Leone western from the 60s or 70s… Then we saw zombies, which reminded us it was The Walking Dead! So we watched Daryl Dixon Season 3 from beginning to end, and we have thoughts. We discussed some behind-the-scenes shots of the new Resident Evil movie. Also, Zombieland 3 might be in the works! Whoo Hooo! Let’s hope 2026 (and beyond) is the year of the zombie!
ZAMP 338 – Plants vs Zombies Replanted
Plants shoot peas at zombies and the sun helps us grow more! Wait, no it’s not 2009, it’s 2025! Why are we playing Plants vs Zombies? Because PopCap remastered the original classic with more content and uprezed graphics. Is it worth it? Did we have fun? All that and more on this week’s ZAMP! In the news we find out Scott Gimble won’t let TWD die… The ultimate hype man! Marvel Zombies Season 2 seems to be a no brainer. Possible rumors of a Resident Evil 0 remake coming. Plus Resident Evil Requiem will have a special edition Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, an amiibo, and Fortnite content!
ZAMP 337 – Marvel Zombies
Disney+ finally receives another dose of Marvel Zombies after the What If Season 1 episode, delivering on a four episode season that brings new characters and new zombie antics. But before we dive into the MCU take on zombies, we go over the zombie news! PRIMAL Season 3 will have a zombie twist, We Bury The Dead featuring Daisy Ridley finally receives a trailer, Table Read Podcast takes on Night of the Living Dead, and Resident Evil mobile game promises not to go for your wallet (for characters that is).
ZAMP 336 – Dance of the Dead with Monica
Surprise, we have a guest this week on ZAMP! We are joined by Monica/WickedKitten13 from the GORE podcast. We gave her the movie choice this week and she picked Dance of the Dead from 2008. It’s new one for us too and we had a blast! In the news this week, we find out Archie may get a zombie show and lots and lots of Marvel.
