In the news we have our first look at Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Dying Light 2 has been delayed to February 2022, Back 4 Blood has a new campaign trailer, and Mark Millar thinks a live action Marvel Zombies is on the way. Moving into our topics this week, we start with Disney+ What If… and their Marvel Zombies episode, then catch up on that cliffhanger for The Walking Dead Season 11 premiere.
A very tired Busy Zombie Lord joins Ryan to discuss their brief time with the Back 4 Blood beta, and are both very excited for launch later this year. In the zombie news, we have a confirmation on when to expect the Marvel Zombies episode of What If…, State of Decay 2 gets a free update as we wait for State of Decay 3, and GamesCom brings us another trailer for Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Moving to our topic, The Walking Dead is back so we discuss the season 11 premiere.
We announce the winner of our Stubbs the Zombie giveaway, then move into the news where we discuss the upcoming Back 4 Blood open beta, Evil Dead: The Game delayed to February 2022, and Night of the Animated Dead has it’s first trailer. We close out the bulk of the show with our thoughts on Black Summer, the Z-Nation prequel series exclusive to Netflix.
We return, after a slight delay in the schedule, to chat about all the zombie news to arrive in the last three weeks. This includes all the AMC fun that was announced at San-Diego Comic-Con At-Home. In the general news we chat about the new Last of Us fan film titled Stay, Marvel shows off more Marvel Zombies in the new What If… series, SyFy’s Day of the Dead has it’s first trailer, and Army of Thieves references zombies so we’re going to talk about it. Shifting gears, we then focus on all the AMC The Walking Dead news from Comic-Con, including new looks at Season 11 of The Walking Dead, Season 2 of World Beyond, two previews for Fear The Walking Dead Season 7, AND more talk of how the Rick Grimes movies will be worth the wait. Ryan and Lou are back with more Resident Evil goodness, taking a close look at the brand new Netflix series featuring Leon and Claire titled Resident Evil Infinite Darkness. We welcome back Jocelyn Kearney to the show from The Gamers’ Inn and The Angry Chicken to chat about Dead by Daylight and the second half of Fear The Walking Dead Season 6. We kick off the show with the Resident Evil Village Corner, where we discuss Capcom’s announcement of Resident Evil Village DLC being in development. Finally, we’ve had some time to process our Army of the Dead watch, and share our final thoughts on the film, and hopes for the future of a Zombie Snyderverse.
