How did we end up back in Manhattan? Oh wait, The Walking Dead: Dead City returns for season 3, and we are chatting about the first four episodes… Believe it or not, we are digging this season. It took three, but Dead City might have hit its stride now. News-wise, we have new games on the way, more details about State of Decay 3, and more details about the Resident Evil exhibit. The Fantastic Four are back from their outlandish journey this week…Only they might be zombies… We are a zombie podcast, would you expect anything less? We chat about Marvel Zombies: Red Band – Death Story, the most recent trade in the Marvel Zombies series and is completely standalone. Off the top of the show, Ryan gives us a brief rundown on his Resident Evil 6 playthrough. This week is part two of our Summer of Resident Evil! Ryan and Lou rank all the mainline Resident Evil games in order of their favourites. We think the order might surprise some listeners! We also touch base on some of the other games, to give some love to a few of the many offshoots. Even our news is Resident Evil as a new Resident Evil movie trailer dropped and rumours continue for a remake of a remake for Resident Evil 1.

Nostalgia is heavy as we return to the mansion that started a franchise. We chat about our history with Resident Evil, specifically the first one, though mostly the 2002 remake. Does it hold up? Do static cameras drive us nuts? How scary are the dog jump scares? The dive is deep this week, almost as deep as a shark tank, but just you wait for the next episode. We also chat about the recent news surrounding Undead Labs and State of Decay 3.
